Respectful lesson from a religious person

Here is how to be open-minded and respectful, from a religious person! You've got to admit, this works.

Responding to an article about David Silverman's atheist license plate, "Weescottiedug" said, "[Silverman] is an atheist who believes in free speech, I'm a Christian who believes in free speech as well. We both have rights to live and let live. I for one am pleased that this man got the registration plate of his choice and I don't find it offensive at all. What I do find offensive however is the way that so called peace loving people on both sides take pot shots at each other for what they believe. These people should grow up and show respect for each other as you never know when you may need the other person's help in an emergency.

The reaction from both sides was overwhelmingly positive. If you keep the conversation civil, that's how people will see you, too.
